Fertiliser Prices
- The average price of all blended fertilisers increased between May and June.
- Bagged 15:15:20 blends increased by 6.7% (£20/tonne) to an average of £317/tonne over the period.
- The average price of 34.5% AN (bagged) fell between May and June, but was higher when making annual comparisons.
There was a general increase in the average price of blended fertilisers between May and June, with price movements varying between different specifications. Bagged 20:10:10 prices averaged £250/tonne in June, £3/tonne (1.2%) more than the price in the previous period, and 12.1% more than the average price in June 2009 of £223/tonne.
There was a £26/tonne (11.1%) fall in the average price of (bagged) 34.5% AN between May and June to £208/tonne. However, the average price in June 2009 stood at £173/tonne, £35/tonne (16.8%) lower when compared to the latest data.
