EU Milk Compositional Quality

Butterfat

Average EU butterfat figures for May 2010 stood at 3.92%, 0.06 percentage points lower than April, but 0.01 percentage points higher than in the same month in 2009. Average EU milk protein content for May 2010 stood at 3.31%, the same percentage level as May. Protein levels for May 2010 were 0.02 percentage points above year earlier figures.
